  1. Student chromebooks must be turned into your academy teachers today for summer maintenance.

  2. The 2019 Miss Greene Countrie Towne pageant will take place Thursday, July 18th in the McClain High School Auditorium. The pageant is open to girl’s ages 14 – 19, who is at least a High School Freshman and resides in one of the following School Districts: McClain, Adena, Leesburg, Hillsboro, Paint Valley, Washington CH or Miami Trace.  More information, as well as the pageant application, can be obtained on the festival website: www.greenecountriefestival.org or by calling Bonnie Baldridge at 937-763-8243.

  3. Any student interested in helping our athletic trainer Karl Knutsson this fall needs to see Coach Orr-Zody or Mr. Karl after school in the field house before summer break.

  4. The Ross County Junior Fair Board is looking for new king and queen candidates. Any student who is enrolled in Ross County 4-H is eligible to run. See Ms. Putnam for an application.

  5. Greenfield First Baptist Church is taking donations for new and gently used prom and homecoming dresses, interview attire, jewelry, shoes, ties, graduation attire, dress shirts and dress pants. Please bring all clean items to the church office during business hours. First Baptist Church is located next to the fire station.

  6. Wednesday during Academy there will be a meeting for all incoming senior band and tigerette members in the band room.

  7. All Band and Tigerettes need to turn in summer uniform and uniform parts order forms and money to Miss Weddington by Friday May 24th. If you are returning to band, and have not received your forms, please get them from the band room.

  8. Track uniforms must be turned into coach Luke or coach Roble today. Invoices must be made for those who don’t turn them in by today.

  9. There will be a Period 0 Fitness & Conditioning class next year worth .5 Credits.  See Ms. Putnam or Mr. Orr-Zody for details.

  10. Grillers and Chillers in Small Town Fitness is now serving ice cream.  Come get a scoop today!

  11. Track Tuesdays and Fast Fridays will take place at 10am at our athletic facilities throughout June and July this summer.  All athletes are encouraged to attend these FREE opportunities to improve. The decision is yours!

  12. Student athletes, remember to turn in your PE opt out waiver if you participated in sports before the end of the school year.

State Power-Lifting Meet

The McClain power-lifting team traveled to Kenton, Ohio for the state power-lifting meet. The total weight for the team was 8,585 lbs between 11 students with 7 of the total members placing in state. More +
