High School Anatomy Students Teach Elementary Students
High school students recently taught an anatomy lesson to a class of third graders at Greenfield Elementary.

AAA Holds Driver's Ed Classes at McClain
AAA will be hosting driver’s education courses at McClain High School this year. Students can register for the classes at the Hillsboro AAA office. Paperwork can be picked up in the high school office. Click "Read More" for additional information.  
Activity Picture Day
Tuesday, November 25 is Activity Picture Day. Clubs, choirs, bands, class officers, and office aides will be photographed for the yearbook.

  1. Students will report to their homeroom classes this morning between 2/3 periods.  You will be dismissed by the PA system.

  2. If you are a resident of Ross county and are planning on attending Ohio State University next year, please see

      Mr. Raike about a scholarship opportunity.

  1. Balfour will be here Monday in the old gym from 7:00 am – 7:45 am if you need to order announcements or your cap/gown.  There is a $75.00 deposit if you are interested in ordering announcements.  Mr. List will, also, have class rings that have been ordered.  Please make sure you bring the balance due in order to pick up your class ring.

  2. Group activity pictures (clubs, choirs, office aides etc...) will be taken on Tuesday morning.  Please check with your adviser or director regarding required attire.

  3. Fellowship of Christian Students will be meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Gossett’s room.  Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will be available for purchase.  Everyone is welcome.

  4. The library will be closed Monday.

  5. There will be a mandatory senior executive committee meeting next Tuesday after school in the resource room.

  6. There will be a junior class meeting this morning during Channel One in the old gym.

  7. Senior ads for the winter program need to be turned into Mr. Stevens by the end of the day today.

  8. Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. will be hiring for temporary Salvation Army Bell Ringers.  Employment will run through December 24, 2014.  The position is responsible to ring the bell at their appointed kettle stand/location, smile and greet customers and collect monetary donations on behalf of the Salvation Army.  Must be able to work flexible hours, safety conscious, excellent customer service and be able to stand for long periods of time.  Applicants will be paid minimum wage of $7.95 an hour and must be 14 years of age and older.  Applications are available in the office.
