Friday, February 27, 2015


  1. Fellowship of Christian Students will be meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Gossett’s room.  Pizza will be available for purchase by the slice.  Everyone is welcome.

  2. Project Trust Counselor applications are available in the office.  Application deadline is Friday, March 6.  Please submit your application to Mr. Streitenberger in the middle school (Room 209).  Camp Dates:  March 18 – March 20.

  3. Order your 2015 yearbook during Channel One at the marble stairs.  Bring $40.00 cash, check or a money order payable to McClain Annual Staff.

  4. Study Hall will be held in the auditorium today during PARCC testing times.
  5. Seniors, please bring your All Night Party pictures to the office.  Your pictures must be in a baggie with your name on it.  Place your name on the back each of your pictures so that they may be returned to you.  The pictures will be placed on a cd, and that cd will be given to you at the All Night Party.  The deadline to turn in your pictures is Friday, March13.

  6. Track conditioning for boys and girls will begin Monday at 3:00 pm.  Please meet in the middle school gym.  If you have not signed up, please see Coach Jones.

  7. There will be an Envirothon meeting Wednesday during lunch in Miss Kesler’s room to do some identification of animals and plants.  Please plan on attending the meeting if you are serious about attending the practice and competition. The competition and practice is limited to eight students.

  8. There will be a pep bus going to the girls’ basketball game in Waverly Thursday.  Once you have purchased your ticket, you may sign-up with Mrs. Pitzer to ride the pep bus.  You must complete a medical emergency form and have it signed by a parent/guardian.  The forms are available in the office.  Mr. Potts will be collecting the forms at the bus.  The bus will be leaving at 5:30 pm from the colonnades on Fifth Street. 


  1. Any junior or senior who is interested in the Summer Scholars Program at Ohio University-Chillicothe should contact

       Ms. Putnam or Mr. Raike as soon as possible.  Students have to be ranked in the top 20% of their class to qualify.  Deadline      to apply is April 1st.
