Superintendent Update: August 28, 2020

Good afternoon.  This is Quincey Gray, Superintendent of Greenfield Schools.  We have had a wonderful first week of school!  I would like to give a shout out to our students, staff, and all of you for helping to make this week go so smoothly.  We are looking forward to another great week next week.  Remember that during the week of September 7, school will not be in session.

Tonight we will host our first varsity football game this season.  We are excited that our student athletes and performers get to have their season.  There are guidelines in place that will help us in being able to continue having extracurricular activities.  First, tonight’s game will not be open to the general public.  Our students who are participating have been provided with two ticket vouchers that they can give to family members and/or loved ones to purchase two tickets when they arrive at the event.  If you are someone designated to attend for a student, you must:

  • adhere to all signage that is posted

  • practice social distancing

  • wear a face covering at all times unless eating or drinking

Finally, if you are not feeling well, please do not attend any school event.  We will look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.

Tonight’s game will be streamed live if you would like to watch.  You can access the link this evening on the McClain Athletic Department Facebook page and on our district website.  We are appreciative of the hard work of our staff members who have created this opportunity for those who can’t attend.

It takes all of us working together to be able to continue having extracurricular activities.  We greatly appreciate your support in helping us to provide the best fall season possible for our students.  Thank you, and have a good evening.
