Did you forget to purchase a middle school yearbook for any of the last three school years? That's okay! You can pick up one for $25!

When we return from break, it will be Homecoming Week!

Mrs. Shrout’s eighth graders played Mind to Mind today and a conversation version of UNO called You Know to get to know each other better for the new school year.
We had a lot of good conversations and learned so many new things about each other we didn’t know. Some conversations were funny and some were deep and thought-provoking.

Mrs. Gall’s students have been diving into the Age of Exploration! They have learned there were economic and religious reasons for exploration. Students created posters, shared their ideas, and gave and received feedback from classmates.

Miss Bolender’s class enjoying reading “The Tell-Tale Heart”! 📖📝

Mrs. Dyer’s accelerated seventh graders worked in groups to see who could correctly order the given cards from least to greatest the fastest. Students had to be able to convert fractions and square roots into decimal approximations in order to sort both rational and irrational numbers. Congrats to the winning team of Porter, Lyla, and Krew! All groups did a great job of working together towards a common goal 😊

Picture day is all about getting together, having fun & looking forward to the awesome school year ahead. Let’s do this! You can scan the QR code to go directly to the Jostens' website to order!

Students in Ms. Collier and Mrs. Raike's language arts class spent time on Friday sharing their writing with classmates to get to know one another.

Students participated in a pipe cleaner tower challenge in Mrs. Molloy’s eighth grade science classes to practice thinking outside the box.

Please see the attached photo for information about joining the GMS Hi-Y.

The first day of school in Ms. Lagorio's class started with making creative name tags.

The start of the school year is just around the corner! Last year, we asked all parents and guardians to ensure that transportation information is updated in advance of the school year beginning, and with your help, things started very smoothly for our drivers! We appreciate your assistance with doing the same thing this year. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.☺️
