Our district will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16. Any information regarding extracurricular events and practices will be communicated at a later time.
On snow days, athletic practices are not mandatory. However, when conditions allow, practices may still be offered for students who choose to attend. For many students, these activities provide a positive outlet, structure, and a sense of normalcy, and can be especially beneficial to their overall well-being. Participation is completely optional, and families should make the decision that is best for their circumstances and safety.
Because conditions can drastically change from morning to evening, events will sometimes be held on snow days throughout districts in our region. With the number of activities in which students are involved, rescheduling can be difficult. As always, safety is considered first when making those decisions.
Finally, we LOVE that people share our information on social media. We ask that you be careful to confirm the accuracy of the information you see on personal social media accounts just to ensure that it is correct. We don’t want any of our followers to receive false information.
Thank you! Have a good evening!

Due to the continued boil advisory, Greenfield Elementary, Greenfield Middle School, and McClain High School will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 19, 2025. Buckskin Elementary and Rainsboro Elementary will be on a regular schedule. We will provide transportation for any students who regularly attend BASC Care and travel from there to Rainsboro Elementary and Buckskin Elementary, but parents will have to bring them to BASC Care in the morning between 6:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Also, the Laurel Oaks bus will run the same that it did today. Just like today, the closure does not impact any athletic events. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience. Have a good evening!
