The fifth-grade students of GES raised $757.00 through their first annual Art For A Cause fundraiser! That is $378.50 per charity. The Highland County Humane Society and the Highland Homeless Shelter will benefit from the artwork created by our students. We are excited to announce the start of our One District, One Book! This year, all elementary buildings (Buckskin, Rainsboro, Greenfield) will be reading Flora & Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo. One child in your family will receive a copy of our book tomorrow, Monday, April 3rd. Along with the book, you will receive a reading schedule. Parent-teacher conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23. The McClain High School Fine Arts Department will present “High School Musical” on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25, beginning at 7:30PM each evening. Important update: Due to the tornado warning for Highland County, our buses are currently stopped in order to maintain safety for our drivers and students. Buses will begin traveling again once the weather is safe to do so. Also, students who attend BASC Care on our main campus are sheltered and safe.
