Hello, Tiger Nation! I’m Caden Wisecup, and I’m the new Intervention Specialist for the 8th grade! I graduated from McClain High School in 2014 and received my Bachelor’s from Bowling Green State University (Talons up!). After college, I lived and worked briefly in the Grand Canyon National Park, then returned to Ohio, and spent a few years living in Columbus. My journey back home began this past year where I started as a substitute teacher in the district, ending the school year as a long term sub for 8th grade math. I am also the head coach for the MHS eSports team. My interests are all over the place, but I most enjoy reading, playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends, attending concerts and music festivals, drinking lots of coffee, and spending quality time with my partner Madi, her son Jaxx, and my three furballs at home. Most importantly, I love seeing students succeed in the classroom. No matter how big or small the accomplishments may be, they’re all wins! I can’t express how excited I am to get back into the classroom with the students and help in any way I can to see each and every one of them shine!

Hello, fellow Tigers! My name Is Payton Smith. I am your new seventh grade math teacher! I am a Greenfield native looking to give back to this wonderful community that helped shape me into who I am today. I am going into my second year of teaching. I started my teaching journey at Rainsboro Elementary. I remember my days in Greenfield Middle School, and am so excited to be a part of the students' experiences! This is also my first year as the assistant cross country coach. Being my first ever coaching job, the athletes and I are learning together as we go. Information from the 8-1-23 1:05 p.m. all-call: Good afternoon! This week on our main campus you will notice police presence while law enforcement officers are conducting drills. We want everyone to be aware that they are only conducting drills, and that nothing is wrong. The First Presbyterian Church will be hosting the annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 12, from 8:00 until 11:00 a.m. This drive-thru event provides an opportunity for students in preschool through twelfth grade to receive a free backpack full of supplies. We appreciate the support of the Presbyterian Church and all of the community organizations who have contributed supplies for the event. We are excited to welcome our students back soon! Open house for all buildings will be held on Tuesday, August 15. All elementary buildings will hold their open house sessions from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. The Greenfield Middle School open house will be held from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. McClain High School will hold its open house for all grades and freshman orientation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. The first day for students in grades 1-12 will be August 17. Hi, I am Shelby Guthrie, your new middle school agriculture program teacher and McClain FFA Advisor. I attended Wilmington College for Agriculture Education, and I am now working on my Master’s in Biology at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. For my first four years of teaching, I was blessed to be an educator at Global Impact STEM Academy in Springfield, Ohio. I taught a variety of agricultural and science courses and was a FFA advisor for the Global Impact FFA Chapter. The experiences in those places were unforgettable. I’m excited to bring everything I learned to the community I grew up in and to a FFA Chapter I hold close to my heart, as it helped instill a passion for agriculture. Whether you are a student in my classroom, a staff member in the building or district, a community member, or Tiger supporter, I cannot wait to GROW this community with you all! Feel free to check out my educator Instagram and Facebook account (@miss_agriculture_science) for updates in and outside of the classroom.

My name is Jeremey Andrews, and I am thrilled to be returning to Greenfield as Assistant Principal at GMS! This will be my 22nd year in education. Despite growing up in the Columbus area (graduating from Gahanna-Lincoln and THE Ohio State University), I spent my first five years teaching out of state in Florida and Tennessee. Upon returning to Ohio, I worked at Wilmington, McClain and Laurel Oaks. The five years I spent at McClain were amazing, which is why I am so excited to be coming back to the district! Over the years, I have coached football, lacrosse, track, baseball, and basketball. I had an opportunity to coach in a state championship football game in Florida and coach multiple Division I athletes, including three future NFL players. My family and I have lived in Wilmington since 2007. My wife of nearly 21 years (Kristin) is a nurse at the Boyd Cancer Center in Wilmington. I have two children: Josh (age 20) is a junior at Wright State studying engineering; Emily (age 15) is entering her sophomore year at Wilmington High School. She is involved in band, theater and choir. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to once again serve the Greenfield community!

Hi, Tiger Nation! I am Whitney Vanzant, better known as "Miss Whitney" here in town, and I am your new middle school secretary. I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. and moved to Greenfield in 2005. I graduated from McClain High School in 2007. I have danced the majority of my life. Throughout my life, I have danced for various companies and competitions all over the country including the Moscow Ballet, Walt Disney Dance Days, and The Peach Bowl halftime performances. In 2007 I became a National Champion for Showstopper Dance. In 2012, I opened Modern Movement Dance Co. My team has won many national titles, and I have received multiple awards for choreography. Along with my studio, I have choreographed for the McClain High School Show Choir and musicals for the past seven years. When I am not dancing, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tanner, and my three kids, Jax, Marley, and River. I love to cook, and I love to shop. My favorite thing is to travel and experience new adventures with my family. Now that my babies and my business are growing and need me less, I decided to take a chance. I absolutely love the Greenfield community and this school, and I cannot wait to be a part of the GMS family!
