Earlier this week, Ms. Collier's class participated in "collaborative annotating" and "accountable talk." Group members were randomly selected to "teach" their annotations to the class. Many of our shyest students were drawn, and they all did a fantastic job getting out of their comfort zone and teaching their annotations to the class.
The Greenfield Exempted Village School District will be closed Friday, January 19, 2024 due to inclement weather. Decisions regarding extracurricular events will be communicated later today. Stay safe! 💜💛

Miss Smith and Mrs. Dyer's seventh grade math classes explored equations using our virtual reality headsets! Students visited the Amazon Rainforest to help a conservation group combat deforestation. Their goal was to find the best rate of which to purchase individual trees for planting!
Congratulations to our middle school students who earned honor roll and perfect attendance for the second nine weeks!

The GMS Valentine's Day Dance will be held on February 17, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the GMS Gym. The dance is semi-formal and is for only for seventh and eighth grade students. The cost will be $5.00 per person. No outside guests are permitted.
