Today, there were some Christmas festivities in Mrs. Stockdale and Mrs. Eikenberry’s homeroom. The day started in Mrs. Eikenberry’s room where the students played several memory games and then went on to a Lego Christmas Wreath Competition. The party then went back to Mrs. Stockdale’s classroom where they played an aggressive saran wrap game in the hallway. Lastly, students competed in an ugly sweater contest. Happy Holidays!

📚🕺👗 When Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Black's classes teamed up for a literary adventure, it was a day straight out of "The Outsiders." The classroom turned into a time machine, transporting us to the 1960s as students transformed into either the rebellious Greasers or the stylish Socs. From leather jackets to preppy outfits, the students not only wore the characters' attire but channeled their personalities flawlessly. It was a day where books truly came to life, and our school turned into a mini Greaser hideout and Soc mansion, proving once again that literature has the power to ignite imagination and creativity! 📖✨ #TheOutsidersDressUpDay #LiteraryMagic

Mrs. Black's reading class collaboratively worked on a hexagonal thinking activity over chapter three from the book, "The Outsiders." Our students delved deep into the text, exploring elements like characters, setting, theme, and important quotes. Through collaborative discussions, they skillfully connected hexagons, allowing them to express their thoughts and draw meaningful connections between words. Furthermore, the students actively participated in a gallery walk, where they had the opportunity to engage with their peers' work. They provided valuable TAG (Tell, Ask, Give) feedback on sticky notes, fostering a culture of constructive feedback and growth. It's truly inspiring to see our students' critical thinking and analytical skills in action!

Mrs. Black's class recently engaged in an epic showdown of wits and creativity in the ultimate battle of SuperFight! 🌟👊 The students drew cards to determine their character and abilities, then used evidence and persuasive arguments to champion their fictional warriors in the most epic battles ever seen in the classroom! 🎤🗣️💥 But that's not all! Mrs. Black added a theatrical twist to the proceedings, making the arguments even more thrilling and entertaining. 🎭👏 We're thrilled to announce the winners from each class, whose pictures are posted as the true champions of SuperFight! 🏆📸 Congratulations to all the participants for their creativity, critical thinking, and impressive performance! 🌟👏🥳 #SuperFightChampions
