Hi, I am Stacie Smith, new 8th grade math teacher. Four years ago, I decided to take a big leap in life and go to school to be a teacher. I am coming from Adena where I was a bus driver for 24 years and a paraprofessional for nine years. I guess you could say I took a very long road to get where I was meant to be, but if anything, I proved it is never too late to chase your dreams.
About me, I have been married to my amazing husband Willie for 29 years. We have 3 children and five, soon to be six, wonderful grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy fishing and spending time on the water with my husband, spending time with friends and family, reading, and listening to music. I am so excited to begin this new journey as a Tiger and can't wait to see what the future holds!

Come and join us! 💜💛

Congratulations to our students who earned the Honor Roll for the fourth nine weeks!

Sixth grade students had a fantastic day bowling and skating! We received several compliments for great behavior. We were even told our school has the best behavior every year!

The following local businesses donated significantly to the GMS Student Council fundraiser for the Humane Society: Shear Miracles, Greenfield Adena Hospital, and Upp Physical Therapy. Everything donated was very much appreciated!

During our May 19 pre-commencement dinner, we recognized our 14 retiring team members. Together, they have dedicated almost 300 years of service to our district! Whether they are planning to travel, spend more time with family, or return to our district in a different capacity, we wish all of them the very best. 💜💛😊
