As you are getting ready for summer break, we would like to let you know that Greenfield Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program again this year. This is a USDA funded program that provides lunch and a next day breakfast for all children 1-18 years of age. We will be passing out meals June 3rd through August 2nd (no meals July 4-5) at three locations:
Greenfield Campus - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM under the colonnades
Buckskin Elementary School - 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the rear parking lot by the playground
Rainsboro Elementary School- 12:45 PM- 1:15 PM in the parking lot
We are requesting that you fill out the linked form, so that we can estimate the need for each stop more accurately.
https://forms.gle/EDpjhGnfYxDugHCF9
We also need permission from each guardian who is able to pick up meals for your child, if your child will not be present. That is included on the form as well. You will only need to fill out one form per household and list all pick-up designees, as well as, students on the same form. If you have any questions, please call Stephanie Lanning @ 937-981-3410.
We hope to see you this summer! 😊

Spirit theme days start tomorrow!

Congratulations to Kasch Haggerty, Garrett Webb, and Owen Snavely on completing their 6th grade ALEKs pie!

Students in Mrs. Smith's 8th grade math classes showed their knowledge about cylinders and cones. By constructing cones and cylinders with a congruent height and radius, students were able to prove that 3 cones would fill one cylinder, showing students that math can be fun!

THANK YOU!!! Our district is so fortunate to have a community that supports our students. There are no words to express the gratitude we have for those who have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars so that our students can further their education at a university or trade school. We appreciate you! 🐅💜💛

We are excited to welcome Jessica Frankovich to our team! She will be teaching American Sign Language at McClain High School and Greenfield Middle School next school year. 😊
➡️ Jess graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a B.A. Degree in Anthropology and a minor in Deaf Studies. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado Greeley in 2020 with an M.A. Degree in Teaching American Sign Language.
➡️ A fun fact about Jess is that she has a farm that she is moving down from Wisconsin! They have a lot of fun animals and grow a lot of cool food and flowers on their farm.
➡️ Jess is excited to share the incredible language of ASL and Deaf Culture with all of the Tigers!
Welcome, Jess! 💜💛

Congratulations to the ancient Egypt pyramid builders in Mrs. Milnes' class!

Congratulations to Lucas Detwiller and Chloie Priest, who finished their 6th grade ALEKs pie! 🤩

Ms. Collier's block two got a break from testing today and was able to settle in with our class novel, "The Hunger Games." Since they've been reading at their own pace this week, it was fun to see some students naturally form reading groups to lead their own discussions as they read. As we finish up testing this week, "May the odds be ever in your favor!"

Thank you to Nurse Katie for teaching CPR to Mrs. Milnes' sixth grade health class!
