Chemistry Lab Renovation Days #1-4 ⚗️🧪 Be sure to follow the updates on our social media accounts, website, and app!😊 We are excited to be using classroom renovation funding to provide a much needed upgrade for our science classrooms at McClain High School! This is a two-year project, and we are kicking off the renovation this summer in the chemistry lab.💜💛 These pictures show the lab as many probably remember it in addition to how it looks now since the work has started. 😳 You'll notice the work in the ceiling of the classroom below as part of the project involves running gas lines to the incoming new lab stations. We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible Director of Instruction and EMIS Coordinator for the outstanding work they do every day behind the scenes. There may not be an "official" day to recognize them, but they deserve A LOT of credit for the successful operation of our district on a daily basis. 😊 Mrs. Barrett's leadership in guiding curriculum development ensures our students receive a high-quality, engaging education. Her attention to detail, strategic planning, and support for our staff make a lasting impact on teaching and learning across the district. As EMIS Coordinator, Mrs. Luke's precision and dedication to data accuracy help keep our schools running smoothly and in compliance - an often unseen but absolutely essential role. We are excited to offer the Tiger Bites program again this summer! ☺️ Meal Pick-Up Details: ➡️ Meals are available to all children ages 1-18. ➡️ Children do not need to be enrolled in our district to receive meals. ➡️ Meals will be distributed at the following locations and times: 11:30 - 12:00: Buckskin Elementary playground - 4297 Broadway Street South Salem, 45681 11:30- 12:30: Greenfield Colonnades - 200 N. Fifth Street, Greenfield, 45123 12:45-1:15: Rainsboro Elementary parking lot- 12916 Barrett Mill Road, Bainbridge, 45612 ‼️Important Information About Meal Pick-Up Without Children Present: If a parent, guardian, or other designated adult plans to pick up meals without the child present, we are required to collect documentation in accordance with program guidelines. Information from the 5-8-25 5:30 p.m. all-call: Tomorrow, May 9, is MHS Day, the annual day of community service during which our high school students assist with projects around Greenfield and the surrounding area. One of the service projects they will be completing is painting the parking space lines in front of Greenfield Elementary. We ask that you do not park on Fifth Street in front of Greenfield Elementary tomorrow so that the students can complete the work. We appreciate your cooperation.☺️ This morning, McClain High School hosted the honors convocation during which many of our seniors received a variety of athletic, academic, and service-based awards and scholarships. You can check out the convocation on our district Facebook page. We are so fortunate that our students receive the kindness and support that they do from countless alumni, businesses, organizations, and many other individuals.
