Students in Mrs. Black's reading and writing class reflected on an informational essay, "The Day I Saved a Life." Students conducted research about an injustice, "an injury, wrong, grievance, an act that inflicts undeserved hurt." Then, students presented their injustices to their peers.
Students created their own grading criteria and presented a one to two minute presentation to the class. Students practiced learning how to speak in front of a group, a broadly applicable professional skill. They learned how to prepare material and practice for a presentation.
The students in Mrs. Penwell’s writing classes have been working hard on an argumentative essay piece. Today, students peer edited and gave useful TAG feedback to use for revisions.
Students demonstrted tectonic plate boundaries in Mrs. Molloy's science classes.
Students demonstrated types of stress on rocks with fruit roll-ups in Mrs. Molloy's science classes.
Mrs. Shrout's students did a gallery walk today for writing algebraic expressions. They did a great job and even helped each other find their mistakes.
Students in Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Raike's language arts classes have been working collaboratively at stations to give each other feedback on their responses.

We are very excited to announce that the Greenfield Exempted Village School District has again partnered with Final Forms, which allows you to sign and complete all kindergarten enrollment forms for the 2023-2024 school year and upload ALL required documents to your student’s individual document folder. Did you know that our buses are inspected twice per year (one annual inspection and one spot inspection) by the State Highway Patrol Motor Vehicle Inspection Team? Our transportation team does an excellent job keeping our buses in shape, which keeps our buses on the road after passing inspection. ☺️🚌
