While we have been busy getting ready for the end of the school year, work on the building has been moving QUICKLY! What has been happening? ➡️ The roofing system has started, which includes the metal sheeting and insulation. ➡️ Prep work for masonry has been completed, and yesterday they started laying stone. Brick should start being laid in the next few days. ➡️ Siding work will be starting soon, potentially by the end of the week. ➡️ Regular safety checks continue to go well, and inspections are occurring frequently and also going well. ➡️ Even with the wind and rain delays, things have continued to move along steadily. Reminder: With frequent use of the basketball courts, it is important to dispose of trash in the cans provided so the area can be clean for all to enjoy. 😀 Please take note that there is video surveillance in place for the safety of those using the area and for the protection of the property. As you are getting ready for summer break, we would like to let you know that Greenfield Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program again this year. This is a USDA funded program that provides lunch and a next day breakfast for all children 1-18 years of age. We will be passing out meals June 3rd through August 2nd (no meals July 4-5) at three locations: Greenfield Campus - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM under the colonnades Buckskin Elementary School - 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the rear parking lot by the playground Rainsboro Elementary School- 12:45 PM- 1:15 PM in the parking lot We are requesting that you fill out the linked form, so that we can estimate the need for each stop more accurately. https://forms.gle/EDpjhGnfYxDugHCF9 We also need permission from each guardian who is able to pick up meals for your child, if your child will not be present. That is included on the form as well. You will only need to fill out one form per household and list all pick-up designees, as well as, students on the same form.
